Japan - paper cranes1

Fourth grade Humanitarians read Sadako and the Paper Cranes, and made cranes for children with leukemia, similar to radiation sickness. They sent cranes to a children’s hospital and to their global partners in Japan (pictured here). The cranes became the focus of an international curriculum conference, viewed by educators in multiple countries.
